Celtho delivers four weights — Regular, Medium, Semi Bold, and Bold — across a glyph set of 400+ characters, enriched by 25 OpenType ligatures and 5 alternate glyphs that give designers an extraordinary degree of expressive control within a single cohesive type system. This is a serif family built not merely to perform typographic functions, but to define visual identities — to give brands, publications, and design systems a distinctive typographic voice that is simultaneously grounded in the authority of classical serif tradition and entirely alive to the aesthetic demands of contemporary design.
Celtho operates in the high-contrast serif tradition — the lineage of rational, Didone-influenced type design where dramatic differences between thick vertical stems and hairline-thin horizontal strokes create a visual electricity that no low-contrast typeface can replicate. But Celtho is not a pure Didone revival. It synthesizes the Didone tradition’s essential visual energy with a more robust, structurally confident construction that gives the family exceptional versatility across weights and applications.
