Zorvi is built on a sans serif foundation — no serifs, no flourishes, no decorative terminals — yet it is anything but minimal. Its hand-drawn construction gives every letterform a richness and character that polished geometric sans-serifs simply cannot access. The strokes are bold and rounded, drawn with uniform weight and resolved into smooth, blunt terminals that feel soft and approachable. Slight variations in stroke width, subtle shifts in letter angle, and gentle inconsistencies in baseline rhythm all contribute to the typeface’s essential handmade authenticity — the evidence that a real person made these marks.
The mixed-case design is fluid and naturally proportioned, with lowercase letters that carry sufficient visual weight to hold their own at display sizes without relying on uppercase drama. The Z in the showcase — with its confident diagonal and rounded corners — exemplifies the design’s core character: assertive but never sharp, bold but never aggressive, casual but never careless. The letterforms lean slightly into an informal forward energy without becoming a true italic, maintaining the upright readability of a print hand while retaining the dynamic quality of natural writing.
